Chris Marcell (Marathon) carries a 69-01.00 boys Shot Put into La Crosse — already past the D3 state-meet record (61-0, set 2025).
Jay Tally (Homestead) is back to defend the D1 boys 800m title — the 2025 champion (1:51.21) leads the division again this season at 1:51.21.
Avery Bott (Arrowhead) is the state's No. 1 in the 200m (23.87), with top-15 statewide marks in 2 more events this season.
