Wisconsin high school athletics has a data problem.

For years, WisSports.net was the go-to source for stats and schedules across every sport in the state. Then it got acquired by MaxPreps — and the community feel disappeared overnight. Meanwhile, MileSplit (owned by FloSports) charges $150 per year just to see your own kid's results. Their app sits at a 1.6-star rating. Two active lawsuits. And they still control most of the track & field data in the country.

We think that's broken.

What WI Athlete Is

WI Athlete is a free, open platform for Wisconsin high school athletics. Every athlete gets a profile. Every team gets a branded site. Every result is accessible without a paywall.

We already have data for 1,171 schools and 11,679 results — and we're just getting started.

Starting with Track & Field

Track is where the data gap hurts most. Meet results get locked behind paywalls or buried in PDFs. Coaches spend hours on manual data entry. Parents can't find their kid's times.
